Tier 2 PC Technician

Laboratory installation (UNIL) is connected to a PC. The server is launched on the same PC. The server performs the functions of exchanging data with the installation via the USB port. The client starts on another computer. After the connection is established, the client must do the work provided by the protocol (transfer the password and username, laboratory number, exchange files, etc.).

The actual laboratory work is as follows. The client sends a request (command) to the server to read data from the installation. The server receives the command, performs the actions associated with it (reads data from the installation) and sends this data to the client. When receiving data, the client displays it on the screen in some form (it can be a text display, an oscillographic image, etc.). To change the installation status, the client also sends some command to the server, which changes the installation state.
